MoneyGuard Buyer Protection
MoneyGuard is a security service provided by Auction Club for buyers. Its purpose is to protect you in case the purchase is not successfully completed.
How the protection works:
- Non-receipt of the item: MoneyGuard protects you if you have paid but did not receive the item you purchased.
- Item is completely different from the description: The protection also covers you if you receive an item that is completely different from the description provided in the listing, not just a minor defect.
Conditions to benefit from the protection:
- Payment through the platform: To benefit from MoneyGuard protection, you must have paid for the item directly through the platform using one of the supported payment methods (such as a credit card or Twint).
- Value: The protection typically applies to items with a value above a certain amount (e.g., CHF 100).
