MoneyGuard Protection Conditions for Buyers
To protect yourself as a buyer using MoneyGuard, a set of terms and conditions must be met. These conditions ensure that the protection applies only to eligible cases.
MoneyGuard Protection Conditions:
- Payment method: You must have paid for the item directly through the Auction Club platform using one of the secure payment methods (such as a credit card or Twint). The protection does not cover cash payments or direct bank transfers outside the platform.
- Covered items:
- Non-receipt of the item after payment.
- Receiving an item that is significantly different from the description or photos in the listing (e.g., receiving a broken phone when the listing states it is new).
- Value: The final price of the item must be above 25 CHF to be eligible for protection.
- Timeframe: The claim must be submitted within 14 days from the date the purchase transaction ended.
Excluded cases:
- Personal pickup: If you picked up the item in person.
- Minor differences: If the difference in the item is not substantial.
- Damage after delivery: If the item was damaged after it was delivered to you.
- Off-platform transactions: Any transactions (buying and selling) conducted outside the Auction Club system.
